For the first week of our animation task we were asked to draw the transformation of one object to another. In order to do this each person in the group had to draw an image that was significant to them in 2013. Once everyone had drawn there image the person next to them had to trace that image and use the image to start with and you had to use your own image to end with. We then put all the pictures together so they linked and created this small animation clip in the link above. My part of the animation was to start with an iphone and to end with Miley Cyrus so I put Miley Cyrus dancing on an iphone as it got closer and closer till the iphone disapeared. I thought the task went quite well, I dont particularly dislike drawing so I didnt mind making the animation. The only challenge was trying to think of a way to transform one object into another. This task taught me how to use the programme iStopMotion, where you connect the camera to take pictures of your animations then you link them all together to make your final outcome. The main difficulty was making sure you didnt have a big jump between all of your frames other wise it wouldnt flow well. iStopMotion proved fairly easy to use as you just took the picture of each frame and played them together.
